Jeddah – 9.11.2017 – The leading national ground handling, Saudi Ground Services Company (SGS) Umrah & Hajj Committee, kicked off its operation during its first meeting, 5 November 2017, at the company’s headquarter in Jeddah. Headed by Eng. Omar bin Mohammed Najjar, SGS CEO, and attended by the senior executive management from SGS. The committee discussed all the set plans and implementation mechanisms, and reviewed all the operational needs to ensure their readiness before 20 November 2017.

Since the start of 2017/2018 Umrah season on 21 October 2017, and up to  the 8th November 2017, SGS staff at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Madinah have served, between arrival and departure, approximately 489 international Umrah flights and 104,832 Umrah passengers.
